Calling all amateur photographers and people looking to create "Insta" worthy pics, this blog post is for you! As someone who takes a lot of fashion photographs, I am here to tell you that sometimes it can be a struggle to keep content interesting and fresh. Recently I decided that in order to really "up" my social media presence, I would start incorporating some interesting, scenic spots around Mankato. Rather than just keep these (really not-so-secret) spots to myself, I thought I would share them will all of you.
Perhaps you know all of these. Or, maybe you are coming from out of town to visit, or you are even moving here from out-of-state (been meeting a lot of you lately) and you are looking for some cool spots to get some great pictures. Whatever your case, I hope you enjoy. I had a blast creating this blog post.
Many of the locations featured are part of the Cityart project brought to citizens by the Twin Rivers Council for the Arts. Mankato and North Mankato have really transformed into a hub for artists and art over the past few years. As a resident and business-owner I think all of this public art is a fantastic way to bring a community together, take pride in our beautiful surroundings, and encourage new visitors.
