I can't believe that it's been nearly a year since we first started redoing our store to get ready for an August opening! I am so happy that we are still here and serving you up with stylish pieces. In fact, things have been so great that I haven't even had time to work on a blog post. Between assisting customers, ordering, merchandising, etc... the days slip away.
One item I did want to be sure and take the time to blog about is how amazing you all are, and really how amazing the Greater Mankato area/Southern MN community has been to us. Day after day new customers are finding us and spreading the word about this little store located in a train depot. Plus, when you return - and bring your friends and family with you at times - my heart is filled with joy and thanks. Not only that, other business owners have been so incredible in feedback and letting others know where they can shop small in Mankato.
I read an article the other day that said business owners often think that they are the most important thing about his or her business, and they aren't. Customers are always the most important piece of the puzzle. Without them, we have nothing. I couldn't be living my dream and trying to build any of this without you. Whether it's shopping, sharing your ideas, helping spread the word about our store, providing encouragement, or even just liking our social media, it all means something to me.
