I know. We don't even have our Christmas decorations put away and I am already yammering on about Spring 2018 runway looks. Let's just take a moment to remember that fashion is my business, and the spring looks are already hitting the wholesale marketplace. This means that fresh new looks are probably already starting to pop-up in retail spaces. (Mine included.)
So, what are we to expect for fashion and trends this coming season? I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED. Let me tell you what the designers brought out this past fall for the Spring 2018 looks. These fashions will be influencing us in the coming months.
Retro, bold florals:
Yes, yes, 1000 times yes. If you have ever been on our website or inside our store, then you know we are all about a floral print. This spring, think wild florals on even bolder backgrounds, such as the beautiful emerald green picture below. Get ready for big prints and primary colors that still make for an elegant statement. (Florals, for spring. GROUNDBREAKING.)

(Emerald Floral, $48. In-store only.)
Plaid: These are not your fall plaids. These plaids are different. These are softer and more subtle. Think pretty blues and neutrals like black and white. The garments will also be lighter for a more season appropriate feel.

(Miss Love Jacket, $48. Coming soon.)
Lavender: Poor purple has been taking a back seat to all of the shades of pink for the past couple of seasons. This spring, all ranges and hues of purple will get some time in the limelight.

(Dusty Rose Cardigan,, $54. In-store only.)
Sparkle/sequins: Thanks to designers like Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs showing sequins in their spring shows this past fall, sparkle is no longer reserved for just holidays like Christmas and New Year's Eve. Our tops shown below are a simple way to incorporate some shine into your current wardrobe.
What are some other spring fashion trends you are anticipating?
Love,
S
