My Uniform

Do you have a uniform? No, not like that one. I mean, do you have a daily combo that you know always works for you? That you know you will feed confident and comfortable wearing?

French women learned this secret years ago. I believe that is why we are always looking to them for tips on elegance and chicness. They know that you don't need a lot of clothing, just pieces that work for you and that are easy to put togehter into a variety of outfits.

My daily uniform works something like this...

Blouse (preferably floral chiffon) + pegged jeans + flats

For a night out, it might work something like this...

Blouse + pegged jeans + heels + jacket + clutch

(Pro-tip: Accessories can put a new spin on any outfit.)

I am not writing this to tell you that you need to dress just like me. The world would be a very dull place if we all looked the same and liked the same things. I am merely saying that I hope you find a "go-to" combo. It may vary by season or by activity.

I think you all deserve to find something that works for you. Once you find what works for you and your lifestyle, dressing well and feeling great doesn't have to be a daunting task.

Remember, fashion is what you wear. Style is what you do with it.
