As I travel and meet new and potential customers, I always get the same questions. Even my friends and family ask some of these questions. So, maybe it's time I sit down and start answering them. I want you all to get a better sense of how Vivian Rose Boutique came to be and where we are (hopefully) heading.
Q: How did you come up with the name Vivian Rose?
A: Honestly, this is the most common question, and it's also the one I avoid the most. Ususally, I tell people it's a family name. The real truth is that I had a miscarriage, and this was going to be the name of our child, if it was a girl. When I was working on getting the store up and running, it was the only name in my mind and in my heart. Obviously, it has very special meaning.
Q: Why did you want to start a store?
A: For those of you who know me personally, you know that I am a fashion fiend. I wouldn't necessarily call myself a creative person, but I think fashion and styling is my creative outlet. My friends and family having been asking for and receiving my style assistance for years. Mr. Rose and I decided that we should give it a go and try our hands at a real business where I sell clothes.
Q: Are you a franchise?
A: No. All of this was created and concepted by yours truly. I hired an amazing designer to assist me, and she captured what I wanted to do and helped design our website. I do all of the buying, adding to the website, marketing, customer service, and shipping and receiving.
Q: Will you ever have a physical store?
A: Maybe. That depends on a lot of different factors. However, I would really, really, really, like to have a storefront. So, please buy some stuff so I can keep saving to make it happen!
